This course includes a mandatory live-fire range training qualification.
Day 1: Friday - 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Day 2: Sunday - 9:00am - 1:00pm
This course exceeds the minimum training requirements to renew your Maryland Handgun Permit and apply for he District of Columbia Concealed Pistol License.
PART-I (In-Person):
Objectives:
- Firearm Safety & Storage
- Care, Cleaning & Maintenance of a Concealable Firearm
- Situational Awareness & Conflict Avoidance
- Use of Force Training for Private Citizens
- Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
- Live-Fire Range Training & Qualification
PART-II (Live eCourse):
Objectives:
- State Laws on Firearms and Self-Defense
- Suicide Awareness
- Permit Application Process

Upon successful completion of this course, student will receive:
1 – District of Columbia Concealed Carry Pistol License Course Certificate
2 – Maryland MSP 29-14 Certified Qualification Renewal Score Sheet

Prerequisite: Active MD CCW Permit
Class Supplies: Pen and paper
Range Gear:
Pistol with at least two magazines
Hearing and eye protection
Range appropriate clothing
Ammunition: 50+ rounds FMJ
There will be NO LIVE AMMUNITION allowed during the classroom portion of training.
Exact classroom location will be released to registered students only.
State application fees are not included in class price.
You must be 21+ and legally able to possess a firearm with valid government photo ID to attend this course.
